Fireworks II

… God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 1 John 3:20

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT

In a previous post I mentioned not knowing much about all the terms used in photography, and even less about taking pictures of fireworks. (You can see for yourself one of my first attempts, and the pitiful results which I posted on my site – Fireworks I). I also noted the bit of a train wreck I had when I tried taking pictures of comet Neowise in the summer of 2020 (see Comet).

I tend to like learning new things, especially if it’s not too painful a lesson to learn. So, if I ever take the time, I think this photography business could be a cool thing to sort out. And there is so much to sort out. It didn’t surprise me to find out that people actually get college degrees in photography. But at this point in my life, going back to college would seriously encroach on this picture-taking adventure, possibly turning it into a really, really painful lesson.

But as a hobby, perhaps?

The bible tells us that there is One Who knows all things. And that would be God Himself. And if He says that He is preparing something which is so good that it is beyond anything we’ve ever seen or heard, or even imagined (and I can imagine some pretty cool things!), then I am very confident that being with Him in heaven is going to be wonderful beyond words. Way, way, beyond. Think about that for a moment. That’s what is on the horizon for those who love Him.

If you aren’t sure how to get right with God, please see Got God?

Hope you have a great day. And be sure to take a few pictures while you’re out there. You never know what might happen.
