I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. – 1 Corinthians 15:3 NLT
Most of us have things in life that can weigh heavily on us from time to time. And if these things are heavy enough, or happen in rapid succession, they can threaten to derail our peace and rest, and our very lives as we know them.
Jesus must have known these things were going to be a part of the human experience here on planet earth, so He made the bold statements noted above. Although a lot of marketing and advertisers try to make similar claims about their products, only Jesus is able to deliver on His promises.
That is because Jesus alone can meet your deepest needs since He’s the only One Who knows what the human heart is all about. And He’s the only One Who not only has the resources to meet your needs, but He sincerely cares about you and your wellbeing.
In case you doubt that, just read a little about the cross, and how Jesus died to give you a chance to live the life He has planned for you, and to have the assurance of eternal life in paradise with Him forever.
