Fall Colors III

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:7

My vocabulary is a bit more limited than usual these days. Most every time I go around a corner, the word “WOW” just seems to spring forth without even thinking.

I’d mentioned in an earlier post that the various colors in the leaves are actually present all summer. I didn’t see them because they were hidden by the green chlorophyll in the leaf. For a more detailed ­– but short – explanation of that, see Fall Colors I

Although man has unlocked a few of the mysteries in God’s vast creation, I’ve not heard of him being able to replicate something as amazing as what’s pictured above. I don’t know how God created all this. Perhaps the why is because He appreciates it when we take time to thank Him and be awed at His handiwork.

I hope your world is as colorful as mine is this autumn. I’ve seen people just blow right past sights like this and not pay any attention whatsoever.

I can’t do that.
