‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’ – Jeremiah 33:3 AMP
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:5-7 NKJV
It seems there are many theories as to why frozen water in puddles displays a circular or radial pattern around the center, as pictured above. When I decided to do a bit of research on this, I thought I’d find an easy explanation. What I actually found were far too many possible theories to list here, and I’m sure I didn’t see them all. In addition, I’m sure I didn’t understand all the ones I did see!
One of the reasons I like science so much is that when we discover something in creation, it frequently leads to several questions when trying to sort things out. And if I am honest, I believe there are still a lot of things that science as a whole is just not all that sure about.
Things like this help keep me humble. And according to the Scripture passage above, humble is a really good place to be.
The above passage written by Peter also states that we can cast all our cares upon God, because He cares about us. I’ve found that to be true time and time again in my life.
