For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Romans 8:19-22 (NLT)
Since we positioned our computer next to a large window overlooking our backyard, I never know what I’m going to see when I look up from my writing.
This young deer was a spotted fawn this summer. In fact, you can still see a bit of a fading white spot on her shoulder. Now she is losing all her spots and putting on some thick fur for the upcoming winter season.
She was grazing on the grass under my window when I first saw her. I tapped lightly on the glass and she looked up, stopping in mid-chew to allow for this photo op. After a few moments, she returned to her grazing undeterred. Little did she know, or care, that her picture would soon grace my website.
I truly appreciate that God thought it important enough to allow the above Scripture to be written down for us. The part about all of creation looking forward to the day when it will join with the children of God in glorious freedom holds a special meaning for me, and perhaps for some of you as well.
I look forward to it.

Hope you have a great day.
