What Readers are saying:
If you like dogs and outdoor adventure, this is the book for you. This is wholesome reading for age ten and up. When a child is lost in mountainous back-country, Joseph and his dog Moon take us on an adventure that is full of challenges as they track the lost child. They encounter natural hazards as well as human dangers and Joseph often depends on his faith in prayer to navigate the threats. The reader will learn a bit about the art of tracking as well as the challenges of surviving in harsh mountain environment. This would be an excellent addition to a classroom library or home-schooling program. Lannie S
This has just the right amount of tension and calm. With several easy-to-follow plots, it is hard to put down. The Christian message comes out naturally as do the many tidbits about things in the out-of-doors, survival and tracking. As one of the main characters states, “Well, today I’m a little less dumb than I was yesterday.” A refreshing novel. AD
This one is my favorite out of the Moondog series so far. I think it would make a good movie. PK
