Stardog Shakedown

You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel. Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven! When God spoke from Mount Sinai, his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. Hebrews 12:24-28 NLT

During warm days I like to take Star the Wonderdog down to the river for a swim and walkabout. She seems to thoroughly enjoy paddling about in search of her stick bobbing in the water. She is ever faithful to swim out and retrieve her prize as long as I keep chucking it out there.

I have tried to watch closely as she shakes the water from herself after her swim. I can see about a nanosecond of it before it all becomes a blur. So I was pleased to capture the above photo where I could at least catch a glimpse of what is going on during her shake.

Stardog really gets into it, as you can see that at least one, if not both, of her front feet are off the ground. I haven’t figured out if she enjoys the swimming and shaking or the subsequent walk and toweling down the best. Star simply loves life and goes at it full speed ahead.

The above Scripture speaks of a coming kingdom which those believing in Christ are soon to receive, and how this kingdom will not be shaken. That’s good news as the world seems to be shaken with lots of craziness of late.

If you are not sure that you too will be inheriting this kingdom which will not be shaken no matter what happens in this world, you can check this link to see what I’m talking about: Got God?

Hope you have a great day.
