I’ve been in and out of the state pen multiple times. (This would not have been my best opening line back when I was in the dating scene. But I digress.) One amazing aspect of doing prison ministry for nearly two decades is that each time I’ve gone in – they have always let me back out. The same day too!

God has allowed me to be a part of something remarkable while in there. When people hear about it, they often urge me to let others know. This book is my humble attempt to do that.

What readers are saying:

I didn’t want to put this book down. I read Jesus in Prison into the night and all in one sitting. Rachel D.

I was given the book “Jesus in Prison,” from one of my customers. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. The stories were so powerful, I read them to my children over a period of several evenings for devotions.  Jesus’ salvation is the greatest power against evil on the world. It really encourages my children’s faith to see that power displayed in people’s lives. God bless you, Mike Y.

I like your book.  I couldn’t put it down last night to put kids to bed so they stayed up an extra two hours.  Ryan F.

This book relates incidents/evidences of just what the Holy Spirit looks like in the darkest places: light, hope, healing, redemption… It is well written in a humble, story-telling style which makes it easy to read and comprehend. I found it very inspirational and do recommend it to all who bear the name of Christ or are even curious in such matters. Rebecca C.

My family received “Jesus In Prison” as an Easter Gift. What a wonderful book! Once I started reading, I could not put it down. Cover to cover it is filled with real live stories of how we can make a difference in someone’s life. As you read, the message of this book becomes clear, it will cause you to focus on your own daily life and you will ask yourself, ” Have I done anything today that REALLY MATTERS! Jerry Mc.

What a blessing your book is, I just finished reading it, I enjoyed every story and I thank God for those lives changed. I really enjoyed the last chapter, the story with Julius. Thank you Thomas for your faithfulness and your dedication for those inmates. I thank God for the work that is happening around the world and the country and to give those men and woman a second chance. I am glad that I have the privilege of reading your book. I will pray for you and your friends who do the bible study. May God continue to speak through you and be a blessing to so many that are hurting and are lost. I got encouraged by so many stories in the book. Thanks for being a light shinning in the darkness and to bring hope through those life transforming stories. May God continue to bring change and freedom.

In His Word, the Lord has given his followers the command to minister to the prisoners and the widows and all the lost who need His saving mercy and grace.  Jesus in Prison shows us, with real life stories, how to minister to and love the unlovable through the power of His Holy Spirit.  This book clearly shows the miraculous impact that the Lord makes when one of his prisoners turns his life over to the service of the Lord after being forgiven of his sins. Newly saved prisoners bring His Light into the very dark places behind bars!
