I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Acts 2:19-21
I find it interesting that an eclipse could bring so many people together – close together – in peace and harmony. People of different races and beliefs, standing in awe of something the Lord orchestrated in His plan way back when He created the world. Or, more likely, even before that.
I hope you had a good view of the eclipse wherever you were at the time. I’ve read where the next one in the US will be in 2024. Not quite sure how they can cipher things like that with such accuracy. Sort of makes my head hurt to think about it.
One thing is certain, as the end of the above Scripture states: And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. When Peter spoke these words, he was quoting the prophet Joel. When they were speaking of the LORD, they were speaking of Jesus.
If you never have, I hope you will call on His name today. He won’t turn you aside, you have His word on it.
Hope you have a great day.
